Trace file size- how big should it be?

over the last few weeks my trace files have become enormous- often 1 Gigabyte or more.Is this normal? It makes it almost impossible to open to peek in if there is a problem...
I am running 5- 5 minute charts,a Half hour chart and 3 from a separate data feed for market internals.

Hello Taters,

Do you by any chance have the diagnostics tab enabled within your Control Center?

Some boxes are checked in the diagnostics tab window ( why some are checked and not others I don't know)

The following ARE checked:

• Bars
• Connect
• DataBase
• Gui
• Indicator
• MarketData
• Order
• Server

The following are NOT checked:

• Alerts
• InstrumentLookup
• MarketDepth
• Native
• News
• Strategy
• Strict
• Test
• Timer

You ONLY should have checked Order, Connection and "To file only".

These options are not related to the size of your trace file. You can enable or disable these options to your liking.
