error message after upgrading to NT 7 version 21

    Hi Drew,

    Thanks for your kind reply.

    I did followed your instruction and right-click on the setup.exe file for Release 31 BUT I could not find this "Run as Administrator".

    I am using this link ford download: http://ninjatrader.com/Download.
    Or do you have a link where the setup.exe file for Release 31 I can choose this "Run as Administrator".

        At this point, I would like to schedule a remote session to investigate this matter further. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response. I just need a few things from you before our call.

        -A phone number where you can be reached
        -A time window where I can call you (please include a time zone). I can reach out to you Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern time.
        -Shortly before our call please launch our remote support application from the following link, http://www.ninjatrader.com/rs. Once launched, the application will provide you with an ID# and password. I will need these from you once I have you on the phone. Keep the program running for me to connect.

          Hi Drew,

          I did save it to my desktop and right-click on the setup.exe file for Release 31 and select "Run as Administrator".

          Then a small window popped an showed:
          "Windows cannot Access C:\Users\David\desltop\setup.exe
          Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network. To
          Try to identify and resolve network problem, click Diagonse."

            Thanks for your reply.

            Is the error message you provided exactly as the error appears? I noticed there was a spelling mistake in the word "Desktop". However, this would be puzzling.

            Is there a folder named "desltop" on your PC?

                  Hi Drew,

                  Thanks for trying to help me.

                  I may discover the problem as my pc is missing the APPData folder in my user account; so when I tried to download the NT , it showed : Window cannot access the specified device, path, file....

                    Hi Drew,

                    It turned out APPData folder is hidden.
                    After internet search, I managed to find the APPData folder. and re-open it.
                    Now the Content.IE5 folder is missing.

                    Will keep you informed of my progress.

                      Hi Drew,

                      I had solved the problem by simply re-install/format my pc instead of spending hours trying to fix/find the missing folders.
                      Now I am back to NT 7(Release 7.0.1000.31), the one I really like compared to NT 8(beta).
