Missing Bars

Apologies if I didn't look for the answers in the right place but I installed the free version of NT 7 and when I look at the 1 hour chart or below, there is not enough candles on the left. I'm using the demo live data from fxcm.



Also, I am wondering how to get the 4 hour chart.

Also I am not able to load the spx500 index chart.

Thank you for your post.

By default, minute-based charts will only load 5 days of historical data. But you can increase this value from the Data Series window.

You can increase the number of "days to load" by right-clicking the chart and selecting Data Series...

* This will bring up a window titled "Data Series"
* From within this window, locate the option "Days to load" from the data series parameters on the right
* Increase this number to load additional days on your chart
* Click OK to apply these changes

You will also be able to increase the days to load when opening a new chart after selecting the instrument that you will be charting.
