Remove Session Templates

Hello,

I had a problem with my NT and I had to repair and finally reset my DB.

The point is that some session templates have not been removed. And when I try remove them the NT is totally blocked.

I am trying to remove them from "Session Manager".

Is there other choice to remove them?

Hello Plaket,

Unfortunately, resetting the database does not remove custom created session templates. You cannot delete session templates outside NinjaTrader - they are not saved in some folder.

You can rename the database to remove custom created session templates, but it will remove other items as well.

•Shutdown NinjaTrader and go to the Windows Start Menu
•Selec Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> db--> NinjaTrader (SQL Server Compact Edition Database File)
•Right click on the NinjaTrader database file and select "Rename". Name it "OLDNinjaTrader"
•Then restart the software and NinjaTrader will create a fresh database file to use
•Unfortunately the following items stored in the old database will be lost: ATM Strategy templates, Session templates, Instrument Lists / Custom Instruments and historical trade execution data
