Deleted db - then restored NinjaTrader.sdf

Hi there,

I had all sorts of data problems today. I deleted all files in "C:\Users\MP\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db" with the exception of the replay market data in "C:\Users\MP\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\data"

I then opened NT and downloaded all the data of the markets I trade and opened all workspaces that I use so that the data could load. When I went to place a trade I noticed that all my ATM strategies were gone.

SO I shutdown NT. Then went and retrieved the deleted file C:\Users\MP\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\NinjaTrader.sdf and pasted over the now newly created one. I opened up NT and all my strategies are now back.

QUESTION: Does NinjaTrader.sdf contain any other information other than strategies and if so should I be concerned that I have now replaced the newly created file with the original ?

Thank you for your post.

Correct ATM Strategy templates are saved within the database file along with instrument lists and historical trade data therefore when a new database is created this information will no longer be available within NinjaTrader.
