LineBreak bar optimization

Hi fellow traders and support team,

I'm trying to optimize my strategy on LineBreak bar. If I set "optimize data series" to true, I can optimize line breaks value but not open offset value. But I really need to do the opposite, ie, optimize the open offset value while the line breaks stays constant. I wonder if there is a way to do this. Guess I need to modify the @BarsTypes file, but I have no idea how to do this.

Any input would be appreciated.

Are you referring to the the base period value? If not, can you attach a screenshot of the setting you wish to optimize?

Hi Patrick,

Yes I mean the base period value. (I'm interested in the tick period type only.) When optimizing, I would like to leave the line breaks value unchanged, only optimize the base period value. (Or, if possible, optimize both of them?)
