Not able to select FXCM as data provider

I registered for a demo Ninja Brokerage forex account and received login credentials, however when trying to set up an FXCM connection, the option for FXCM is not on the list of providers. Any idea why this is?

This is likely due to your license key not being enabled for FXCM. Please send an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with this thread in the body in addition to your license key. You will find your license key under Help> License Key.

I have a live license, single broker, setup for CQG datafeed at AMP. Can I also have my license encoded for FXCM without affecting my AMP futures trading?

Upgrading to a multi-broker license key would allow for this. A single broker license key can be used with only one brokerage.

Just for a DEMO TRIAL? Sheesh....
If that's the case, then why not supply a demo license key with the FXCM credentials in the email?

If you are wanting to trade your live AMP count while demoing the FXCM account you will need to upgrade to a multibroker license key. We can also send you a free simulation license key you can enter in when you are wanting to place simulated orders to FXCM. I would liek to note while this simulation license key is entered in you will be unable to trade live. Please send a note to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com for a free simulation license key.
