Incorrect tick sizes on 5 decimal forex pairs

I am using a DTN IQFeed connection, and when displaying forex pairs like GBP/USD that should have 5 decimal places in their price, it only shows 4 decimal places. I've gone into instrument manager and changed the tick size, but it doesn't help.

The strange thing is that JPY based pairs which have 3 decimal places in their price do display correctly based on the instrument manager settings I choose. It is just the 5 decimal forex pairs which don't reflect the instrument manager settings I select.

Any help would be most appreciated, thank you!

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

Please open the Options menu (Tools > Options) then navigate to the Data tab. In the Data tab, which 'Quote currencies in' setting is selected?

It was set to 1 pip, and now I've changed it to 1/10 of a pip and it is now working correctly, thanks. The final decimal place is showed with a little "dash" however, I've never seen this before in Ninja. Is there any way to just make it display normally without the dash?

      Thanks!

        Hello,

Unfortunately, the dash cannot be removed.

If other questions come up which I could assist with please let me know.

Thanks! I'm trying to make sense of why I was able to get it to display all 3 decimals on yen based pairs even before switching it over to 1/10 pip in the tools settings, as it wasn't showing any sort of dash then. Now that I have switched it though, the dash is there. How is Ninja deciding when to add this dash? I'm assuming the data coming in is simply 3 decimal points on yen pairs and 5 decimal points on others, with no sort of markings indicated.

            Hello ra1den,

If 'Quote currencies (FX) in' is set to HalfPip or TenthPip, you will see a dash.
