Getting Today's time session for some instrument?

Would it be possible for a Strategy, getting the right time session for the current day ?

This would be a nice feature for customer's ExitOnClose automatic procedure.

If yes: how can I access that info through the scruipt?

if no: Please consider to add this feature to NT

I wanted to double check, you are just trying to get the currently applied Session template from the strategy?

If so, you may be able to utilize : GetNextBeginEnd()

This method allows you to get the start and end of a session, it also has a Bars ago parameter in the case you want other than the Current bar.

Not the Session Template, cause this is a constant. I refer actually to exchange's intrument own calendar. Let me give you an example: today's session for EURUSD will be till 16:00:00 and not the typical 17:00:00, so what I want to get is that my strategy can call this info and apply it to its ExitOnClose procedure.

Thank you for the clarification.

So you are referring to modified exchange hours such as Holiday hours then correct?

If that is the case, this has already been accounted for in NT8 but would need to be manually accounted for using logic in NT7.

For NT7, you would need to manually define the specifc dates or times in your logic as the Session would always remain the same as you had noted.
