Spikes when connecting FXCM

Hi

I often get spikes when either initiating a connection or reloading historical data in a chart on my FXCM demo account. This occurs in both NT8 & NT7. See attached.

Hello,

Can you tell me what Historical Data option you have selected within your connections settings. This can be checked using the following steps in NinjaTrader 7:

• Go to Tools->Account Connections
• Select your FXCM connection
• Change
• Next

I have the NinjaTrader historical data server ticked, but I also tried it unticked with similar results.

When testing on my end I was unable to reproduce the large spikes. Can you please right click within your chart and select "Reload All Historical Data" then attach a new screen shot.

Also does this only occur with GBPUSD?

Thanks Christopher. I just closed down, reopened and reconnected to FXCM demo. Getting a spike on each chart (EURJPY & GBPUSD as attached), didn't need to reload historical data.

Also charts attached to initial post showed spikes in both EURJPY & GBPUSD.

If you do reload data within the chart do you see the large spike on the first real time bar?
