Scale Out Of Trade

Let's say I do not use the ATM and instead just place a long order for one lot. Is there a way I can scale out, say 1/2 lot, instead of closing the whole position?

Thanks for your post.
By lot are you referring to a full lot in forex? If so you would just sell 5 mini lots as that would be half of a full lot. Place a sell order for 0.05M
