Limit order entry

I have been forward testing a strategy and tested the demo entry v live account entry. I noticed that the demo was entering pretty much as soon as it was touched while this obviously doesnt happen on a real account. Is there anyway to change the settings so it must trade through the price to fill?

- Note: the default NT backtest fill logic on limit orders already requires that the market trades through. Market touch is not sufficient.

ok, I figured that bit out. But that default setting to trade through the price cant be used when forward testing in real time then?

Not sure I follow. This is a logic NT applies internally for backtesting. It has no impact on how your orders are handled at the exchange real time.
