Indicator stopped working

The PairsRatio has been a helpful indicator for me in the last years:

I recently noticed that the indicator stopped plotting realtime data, I only get the actual real value if use F5 "reload NinjaScript"

What is the reason, how can this be fixed? Help highly appreciated, thx in advance!

Hello Flo,

Can you please check if you receive realtime data for both instruments that you have selected for this indicator.

When I test the indicator on my end, it plots in realtime. Could it be 'Calculate on bar close' is set to True in the Indicator menu? If so, please set it to False and check if the issue remains.

yes, realtime data for both instruments (ym and fdax), also "calculate on bar close" is set to false.

It worked perfectly for years, no clue why it stopped now. I already did a fresh NT7installation but still the same issue.

I installed now NT8 but have no clue about programming. Is it possible to convert this (quite simple) indicator to NT8?

Hello Flo,

Does it work if you select the ES 03-16 and YM 03-16? One thing I just noticed is that this indicator plots the same value - the price axis shows the same price. Do you see the same?

Hi Jason,

yes, the value doesn´t change because the change is too small but you can see even minor changes through the chart line.

I deleted the NT7 folder with all the templates, workspace, etc stuff and reinstalled NT7 and now its working fine again. Realy no clue why but all good now

If I want to switch to NT8, are there any programmers who can re-write the PairsRatio Indicator for NT8( (against payment). I really don´t have no knowledge in programming and don´t plan to learn it
