How to partial close ATM Strategy at market orders?

Hello,

how do I partial close active ATM Strategy at market orders?

Example I opened 2 contracts ES long @ 2056.50, Market Price is now 2060... How do I close just 1 contract @ market orders quickly? Usually I adjust Profit stops, but this may be inconvenient at times since I have target chase limits enabled (which I may not want activated in this case) and its hard to amend it from chart trader screen (I am not always on superdom screen now, plus difficult to click around amending it during fast moves).

I tried this: Select quantity 1 for Active ATM strategy and then did hotkey for market close... Yet for some reason, it closed my entire 2 contracts (instead of the 1 quantity which I selected in my chart trader)??

Thank you for your note.

Do you have the Hot Key set to "Close Position"? If so this would close your entire position at market.

To close part of the open Long position like you described you would want to keep the active ATM Strategy selected->Set the qty to 1 then submit a "Sell Market" order.
