Futures not updating in NT8

Hi, just started to try NT8, and my ES and ZN feed does not update (IB datafeed). If I refresh it will, but then will be static again. Cash forex does update real time so this is only futures problem. Thanks!

Hi Patrick, it seems to be working now (today)...and it is real time data feed via TWS.

One more question, how can I chart individual month contracts? Say ZN H6 (March 2016), etc instead of the continuous contract by default?

With your chart selected you can simply start typing (an entry box will automatically appear) 'CL 01-16'. This is just an example. The important thing to remember is the format which is INSTRUMENTspaceMONTHdashYEAR.

Also you can add instruments to you default instrument list so they appear and are easily selected from the instrument drop down lists. Here is a video guide:

Hi Patrick,

I attached a chart of ZN 03-16, which shows that it is still charting a continuous contract....it looks like it rolled from the Dec-15 contract to March-16 on 11/30/15. While the continuous contract is fine for most of my trading, I still would like to just pull the individual months only. Make sense?

Thanks for the clarification.

You can see only a particular contract month's data by changing your merge policy.

From the Control Center please go to Tools > Market Data > Change the 'Global merge policy' to 'Do not merge' > OK.

Reload your chart to see if this is now displaying as you desire.
