Can two people on seperate computers log into NT live platform at same time?

hello,

my trading partner and i wish to log onto the NT platform at the same time, but from different computers in different locations. is this permitted, while still only paying the $50 per month license fee ?

we want to do this for a live account at MF Global using TradeStation and NT to do automated trading, using the NT DLL.

can we do this as we are both from the same trading company, just that we are located in different office locations. we dont want to have to pay more than $50 per month to use the platform.

There are actually two items specific to your question.

Q1 - Can two people use NinjaTrader concurrently with one license?
A1 - NinjaTrader can be installed on as many PCs as you like and accessed by any one PC at a time but concurrent use of one license is not allowed. If two people want to use NinjaTrader at the same time two licenses need to be purchased, one for each user.

Q2 - Can two instances of NinjaTrader be connected to the same trading account at the same time.
A2 - MF Global uses Patsystems technology to link NinjaTrader to your brokerage account and the Patsystems API does not allow more than one instance of a front-end application like NinjaTrader to connect to it at a time. Therefore even if you purchased a second NinjaTrader license it would not be possible to connect both of them to the same MF Global account at the same time.
