Cash value not being updated

Hello,

I am connected to IB through TWS but the Cash value and Net liquidation values are not being updated.

On TWS this value is being correctly updated and I'm receiving data correctly on NT.

What may happen?

NinjaTrader behaves like a radio in that it only displays information that has been sent by your connection. If your connection has not yet sent your account information then NinjaTrader has nothing to display.

Typically account balances are not updated until a live trade is placed.

Yes, this is exactly how I understand it.

The normal behaviour that I always saw in NT is that when Net Liquidation Value is updated in Account window in TWS it is also updated in the accounts tab in NT. Not today. In TWS it seems to work fine but not in NT.

The NinjaTrader Platform has no control of what is and what is not sent via the connection. It will only display the information it receives.

If the information is not displaying then that indicates it has not yet been sent through the connection to NinjaTrader.

A restart of NinjaTrader may help 'refresh' the connection, however ultimately you may need to contact Interactive Brokers.
