repeated & bunched trades on chart

Sometimes, when reviewing charts, I'll find areas of the chart with repeated markers of trades bunched together in two columns (see attached). What causes this?

I should have checked this on my trade list before bothering you with it. It turns out that I had done a series of trades, one right after another on a very slow (afterhours) day. Because there were very few bars for that day, they all piled up on top of each other.
