Chart not loading past decisions

Sometimes when I load a strategy into a chart it doesn't show what past moves the strategy made. What is the significance of this?

Thanks for your post.

If you are certain that the strategy should have made historical trades then check that the dataseries of the chart has "Plot Executions" set to "Text and Markers" or "Markers only" as it may be set to "Do not plot"

To check, on the chart of interest:
Right mouse click in your chart and select the menu 'Data Series...'
Find the 'Plot executions' parameter for each data series and change to the desired value:
DoNotPlot - Do not display historical orders on the chart
MarkersOnly - Show historical order with markers, no text
TextAndMarker - Show historical order with markers and text
Press the 'OK' button

Thanks for the quick response. It looks like it had actually traded, but I had to scroll back pretty far to see it.

That being said, it appears that the chart is currently flat, but the strategy is waiting for the position to be become flat before trading. What might be causing that?

Thanks for your post.

Please check the Ninjatrader control center's "strategy tab. A Yellow highlighted "Strategy" cell indicates the strategy is waiting until it reaches a flat position to be in sync with the account position before fully starting.
