VIX Future data using IB

Hi NT team

I am trying to use VIX future live data from IB for which I have real-time prices. It is strange it is working for some contracts (VIX 01-16), but not for others (VIX 12-15). It keeps changing.

If I tried to load VIX 12-15 I receive the following error message:
Error loading chart .... The contract description specified for VIX is ambigous; you must specify the multiplier . (200).

I only have VIX index and VIX futures in my database. I need both. What can I do?

Thanks for your post.

The VIX is not supported with Interactive Brokers since the format change of the instrument on IBs end.
