    Arms CandleVolume

See attached chart. I would like to be able to use Arms CandleVolume on my Ninjatrader charts, but it doesn't seem to be currently available.

If anyone uses Stockcharts, they have it, and it is really a great way to see price and volume in one candle. Not only cool, but useful.

Would be nice to make it available to NT customers, I think.

    Hello Tasuki,

I will forward the suggestion to support such a bar type to development to put it on the list of possible future enhancements. Thank you for your feedback.

These are more usually called Equivolume bars.

For NT7, somewhere in this thread, you should be able to find it.

Hm. This appears to be the relevant post: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...59&postcount=4

For NT8, search the File Sharing section. There is a posted BarType.

The suggestion to support such a bar type by default in NinjaTrader has been added to the list and is assigned to SFT-872.

Thanks, Jason, and to clarify, "equivolume" bars are not the same as Arms CandleVolume bars. The guy who came up with this idea, **** Arms, works with Stockcharts.com, and those folks have clear definitions of the differences.
When implementing Arms CandleVolume bars, Ninjatrader would be wise to consult the Stockcharts definition at this URL:

          Thanks,
          Tasuki

              I stand corrected.
