TD Ameritrade DataFeed Accounts

Hello,

NinjaTrader sales support helped us to get access to the TD Ameritrade datafeed in NinjaTrader 7, but we have three different accounts we will be trading in TD Ameritrade.

Two accounts are different IRA accounts and the third account is a joint cash fund account.

Each account has a different username and password in our TD Ameritrade account.

How do we create three different TD Ameritrade accounts in NinjaTrader so that we can trade our three different TD Ameritrade accounts using NinjaTrader?

Thank you for writing in. You would setup all three accounts in the usual manner by going to Tools -> Account Connections -> Add. Then you would connect to the account which you wanted to trade with. If this is not what you are looking to do, could you please let me know exactly what you are trying to accomplish so I can better assist?

I didn't think it was possible to create three separate accounts because I didn't think of giving them each a separate name in NinjaTrader. After giving them each unique names I found that I was able to create the three TDAmeritrade accounts in NinjaTrader.

I have my 2 accounts linked at TDA.

NT7 shows both accounts when connected to my main account.

I have NOT tried to create a separate login for the 2nd account, but I guess it would be possible even if linked.. The account you would be trading in for this situation would be the main account. There'd be no way to tell it which to trade in (that I'm aware of). So keeping your 3 accounts handy would be still required.
