FDAX Symbol Mapping to FDXM

I want to chart FDAX using IQFeed data and run a strategy on that data but execute in FDXM using Ninja Rithmic data, the new mini FDAX.

What is the best way to do this.

I've created a symbol called MDAX and set the IQFeed symbol to FDAX and the Rithmic for NinjaTrader symbol to FDXM but am haing chart not updating issues.

Is there a "correct" way to achieve my goal?

Hello Momentum,

Please note that the MDAX is a different instrument than the new mini DAX futures. The MDAX is aleady present in NinjaTrader. Are you saying you created a second instrument for the MDAX? If so, please delete it in the Instrument Manager.

No, I created a new synthetic instrument, nothing to do with an existing contract.

The FDAX and FDXM are identical futures contracts based upon the DAX index. FDXM has little volume so it does not chart well. FDAX has good volume. I want to chart FDAX and execute FDXM off the FDAX chart to get the benefit of a smaller tick size for the ability to manage trades more granularly.
