Mini Dax Future

Could you pls give instruction how to add the new Mini Dax future to instrument list. IB already has the symbol in TWS and IQFeed on their Website has the name of DXM.

Can you please reset the instruments. Disconnect your data feed/broker connection and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab. Click Reset Instruments and restart NinjaTrader. Check if you now see the MDAX in the Instrument Manager.

the MDAX is not the Mini DAX Future.

As far as I know, the mini DAX uses a point value of 5 and tick size of 1.

The MDAX is setup this way. Kinetick uses MXE as symbol map. When I check the symbol search on Kinetick's website, it lists MDAX for MXE.

When I type DXM in Interactive Broker's TWS, I do not see a mini DAX futures.

What data feed or broker do you use? If the symbol mapping is not correct for the MDAX, I suggest to change it to the mapping that is used by your data feed or broker. Once you made the change, please remove and re-add the MDAX 12-15 to your instrument list for the change to take effect.

It is Continuum with Ninjatrader Brokerage.

EUREX feed is enabled.

It uses a symbol map of F2MX. The mini DAX will begin trading tomorrow. If you do not receive data tomorrow with the default setup, please let me know.

You are correct. This is not the mini DAX futures, but a different instrument.

I will check with my superiors if it will be available.

I have looked up this symbol on IQFeeds website and see it is DXM

We'll see tomorrow, but I know that since October 14th we could simulate this future. So I think, it won't work...
