IB: Error accessing eurex instruments

Default;Error on loading chart data for 'FDAX 12-15 Eurex': Interactive Brokers: Error in requesting historical data from IB: The contract description specified for DAX is ambiguous;
you must specify the multiplier.(200);


I tried also FESX and FGBL with the same result. There were news that eurex is about to introduce new mini futures.

Hello Mithnadril,

Can you please proceed as follows. Disconnect IB and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instrument Manager. Highlight the FDAX in the 'Available master instruments' section and click Edit. Select the Misc-tab and change the symbol map for IB to "DAX|||25" without quotations. Click OK.

Remove and re-add the FDAX 12-15 to your instrument list now that it has different settings. Instructions can be found at the link below.

Click OK in the Instrument Manager. Restart NinjaTrader and check if you now load data without error.

I changed also the following mappings
FGBL to GBL|||1000
FESX to ESTX50|||10

with success.
