Velocity Futures. What do I need to trade with them?

I just went through this w/Velocity a few days ago.

1) NT is connected to TT FIX.
2) TT FIX users pay the XTrader commission rate.
3) Go to the VF website, go to the commission tab, and presuming you're a Non-Member, the Non-Member per RT fee is your all-in commission rate.
For example, as of this posting date, the Non-Member XTrader commission on the ES contract per RT, all-in is $3.73/ct. That's the NT rate also.

4) VF will rebate your NT platform fee on a monthly basis if you exceed a certain monthly commission level.

Call Dale Box (broker) at VF on their main phone #800-490-9390. He's good at getting accounts established for Ninja, OpenQuant, and whatever other ATS platforms they're pushing. I had my account opened, funded and connected OpenQuant to TT FIX in one day. I added NT a few days later and it took < 10 minutes to download NT and establish a TT FIX connection.

I just have a sim account currently. I can set up the real-time account w/VF anytime I want but I won't need it for another week or two. I can send you the sim account info if you still want it.

I was incorrect in my comments on the NT licensing w/Velocity. For sim accounts you get your registration via Velocity. For the live NT account you purchase a license through NT and Velocity will rebate you monthly for your platform fees.

Yes, I looked at that page before I posted my question. In this thread on 06-04-2008 02:11 PM, JangoFolly wrote about NewEdge and it seemed that there was bit of follow through, I was wondering if that was something you folks had more information about?

If you folks are working on a direct solution, please let me know.

I have nothing new to add but you can have your contact at NewEdge send a note to sales at ninjatrader dot com to schedule a call and see if the connection is possible. They are not directly supported so I do not have a direct answer as to whether the connection will work.
