Hello,

Is there a way to enter an order only if it goes through the price rather than getting filled when it touches the price? I've been testing a strategy with the assumption I wouldn't get filled unless the price went through my entry point only to discover I was filled as soon as the price touched in a live market. Probably a good thing, usually, but I was counting on the price bouncing off certain levels before breaking through.

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, NinjaTrader does not include an option which can be used to force orders to fill in this way. Order fills in the simulation account are based on volatility and, if volume allows, orders will be filled when their price is hit.
