Ninjatrader has stopped working

I am getting Ninjatrader crashes all the time with the message "NinjaTrader has stopped working". When I say all the time, I mean once an hour, it will die. If I have forgotten to save the workspace periodically then I lose all my work, Looking in the forum, many other people have the issue but no one records the solution in the forum.
Help, why is it crashing?

Thank you for writing in. The main reason you do not see solutions for this in the forums is because there are a variety of solutions and a variety of problems that cause this error. To narrow down the cause of the issue, please send us your log and trace files.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

Please reference the following information number in the body of the email:

This solution does not work when the app won't even finish starting up.
UPDATE: The Trace file showed exactly what was happening on my system. (VMWARE issues).
