CFD Instrument for IB

Hello,

I know that I cannot get data for CFD with IB. HOwever I expected to be able to add a new instrument to be able to send orders through ninja to use IB CFD's.

Is this possible? If it is, what are the settings for a new instrument (exchange, instrument type, etc...)?

Unfortunately it is not supported to trade CFD's with Interactive Brokers in NinjaTrader 7.

Is it available with NT8? HOw is the NT8 beta period going? Can I use it safely?

Yes, it is expected that Interactive Brokers will have CFDs supported with NinjaTrader 8.

If "it is expected" it means that it's still not available?

Unfortunately stock CFDs are currently not supported with Interactive Brokers in NinjaTrader 8. However CFDs such as XAUUSD and XAGUSD will work.

Is it possible to get a more definitive response as to when/if IB Index CFD symbols will be available in NT8? It seems to have gone from "will be available" to "expected ". Are we talking 2015 or 2016?

Unfortunately we do not have an ETA when stock CFDs are supported with Interactive Brokers.

Just for clarity I was actually referring to the Index CFDs like IBUS500, IBDE30, not stocks if that makes any difference?
