Does NinjaTrader Condone This?

A few years ago, I purchased a lifetime license to finalg's TPOChart indicator. Suddenly, I'm getting an error message that tells me I'll need to "upgrade" or the indicator will stop working. The "upgrade" appears to involve buying a new "lifetime" license.

I have emailed Muly Oved, the developer, for an explanation and I am awaiting a response.

My question: Is NinjaTrader ok with this?

Is the upgrade free?
Yes

Why the new version is required?
Due to a change in the license server old version will stop work from Oct 16, so a new version is required in order to continue use the study.

Will it delete my setup/templates/charts?
No

Is there a new functionality
No but you may have a very old version so then over the years some minor features was added like HVN/LVN to the TPOChart.

How to install the upgrade?
Exit NT
go to http://fin-alg.com/products.html and download a new version
Run the just downloaded version.
Start NT

When download the new version Norton antivirus said unsafe and removed the file instantly
This is a false positive alert, you should disable Norton antivirus and let the package install.

I installed the upgrade but still get a message tell me to upgrade
This is OK, the application does not know if you upgraded or not, just click the “Don’t show this message again”
