Global shortcut key

Hello,

I have noticed that the Global shortcut keys will only accept certain shortcuts even though others are available from the drop down list. For example, I tried to use my NUMPAD6 key as a shortcut for "next work space" but an error was given. I've tried several shortcuts all with the same error.

Could anyone please tell me which set of shortcuts will be valid for Global other than the ones I have already assigned in the screenshot?

Hello michellepace,

You can't use numbers or letters alone or in combination with the Shift key.
Use another modifier like Ctrl to work around this.

If I try "Ctrl + Z" I get the same error.

You also have the option of using Alt. I suggest looking through our Help Guide on Working with Hot Keys.
