Market Replay and workspaces work slightly differently than a live data connection and workspaces.
When saving a workspace using a live data connection, drawing objects will be saved for 20 days. After that, they are removed to conserve resources. There is no way to save a drawing object permanently as part of a chart. Drawing objects are also not saved as part of chart templates.
In Market Replay the workspaces do not save drawing objects because they are reset when changing times using the replay slider or the go to feature. It is intended to quickly look at specific data sometime in the past.
When you choose "save' as you exit, it is saving the location of your open windows. For more information on the function of workspaces please see the help guide link below:
