Unexpected short trades

I'm running an automated strategy set to make only long trades (no short trades involved).
But I am seeing a few short trades pop up - and all losses of considerable size.
Any idea why this is?

Thanks for your post.

Can you clarify what entry and exit methods you are using in your strategy? Can you post a short sample of your entry/exit coding?

Is this being done on backtesting, market replay or live/sim trading?

This is simulated trading with a live data feed.
The entry method is a simple enter long if..
Exit is via a simple profit target and stop loss. All created in the wizard.

I should add that although recorded at a time when only automated sim was running, no strategy was shown in the info, unlike every other (long, expected) trade.

So that I might investigate please send the strategy file (CS type) into platformSupport[at]Ninjatrader[dot]com with atten: Paul and the title of this thread in the subject line. The file would found in Documents>Ninjatrader7>bin>custom>strategy
Also, please identify the instrument and time frame used.
