limit orders in DOM

I believe there must be setting for this but whenever i try to place an order in Dom below the current market (for longs) by left or right clicking a price below current price I immediately get filled as a market order. Is there no way to place a limit order using the price ladder?

Yes left clicking below market in Buy column for long entries, left clicking above market in Sell column for short entries.

I am only in Demo mode for now until this gets sorted out.

what was the resolution? I am experiencing the same and I am on latest release of NT 8

Thanks for posting.

This is usually caused by a buy limit order being entered above the last traded price, or a sell limit order being entered below that last traded price. Doing either of these would cause an immediate fill, since the platform sees the limit as already being hit when the order is submitted. Generally a stop market, stop limit, or MIT order would be used rather than a limit order in this circumstance.
