Commissions

I have a strategy that I would like to use for both stocks and futures. These have different commissions. Ideally, I'd like to get the program to get the commission fee, and make sure that the position made a profit before exiting. Can this be done, or I just have to hard code the commission fee?

I'm using TD Ameritrade.

While this is undocumented you can obtain commissions via:

Instrument.MasterInstrument.GetCommission(1, Account.Connection.Options.Provider)
