Candlesticks with Paint Bars

Paint Bars are useful studies since they can contain a multitude of conditions and generate some striking chart patterns that can be instantly recognizable. For example, take a look at the attached charts, BWT Trend Bars (from Blue Wave Trading) and ECO Bars (from Zoltran - this Forum). When they are used with Candlesticks, however, most of these studies cover up the hollow bars. You lose the ability to use the Candlestick Patterns to help filter out the trades. Compare these with the Standard Candlestick chart. The engulfing patterns, for example, look a bit more intimidating on the Standard Chart. Is there any way to have in a future upgrade the capability for the paint bar studies to paint only the candle outline in the case of the hollow bars (including the wicks and with varying thickness for better visibility)? Would be useful, IMHO at least.

I haven't seen the ECO Bars Indicator for a while either. It was written by Zoltran. I suggest getting in touch with him to find out what happenned.
