Position not updated

I have two IB accounts connected to NinjaTrader. Different Strategies on different instruments send orders to both accounts simultanously.

Today, after market closing, the Positions-tab shows two open positions in two instruments in the 2nd account. The Log-tab shows that for this account the category 'Position' isn't updated. Only 'Order' and 'Execution' are updated. Luckily all trades are executed properly, both IB accounts show 0 positions.

How come 'Position' for the 2nd account isn't updated? What to do now, just close NT?

Do you mean two running TWS instances both connected to NT?

Yes, two instances of TWS both connected to NT.

We are actually ending support for this due to experiences such as the one you experienced. We have not internally supported this for quite some time but our website has not been updated to reflect this. You can try and restart and see if that makes a difference.

Hi Ray,

Disconnecting TWS is enough to clear the Positions-tab. I hope no trade will pop up tomorrow unexpectedly because of this...

It will be a pity if you no longer support the multiple account feature. That was one of the main reasons I choose NT. Please continue it in future NT versions even if you don't longer support it! It makes my life a lot easier.
