    connecting but not connected

    Hi,
    I installed NT on my new windows 10 pc but when I try to connect to IB the connection status stays "connecting".
    I tried it with NT 10 and the 2 latest 7 versions.
    TWS build 950.2g
    java
    C:\Users\Maarten>java -version
    java version "1.8.0_60"
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_60-b27)
    Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.60-b23, mixed mode)

    I attached a screenshot of the NT logging.
    Hopefully you can help me with this problem.

    Hello Maarten,

    Am I correct you are using a white labeled version of TWS? I see you named your connection "Lynx" in the screenshot. If so, please see the workaround below which allows white labeled versions of TWS to be connected to NinjaTrader.

    Open TWS. In menu bar click <Configure> and proceed as outlined below.

    Configuration--> Display--> Settings

    On the right panel in "Titlebar text" there is a edit box. Enter following into it:

    "Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation" (without quotes)

    Then navigate to Configuration--> Display--> Style

    Check the setting: Use system title bar (Change requires a restart)

      Hi Jason,

      You're right about Lynx.
      In the "Configuration--> Display--> Settings" it was filled
      but the "Use system title bar" was not marked.
      I rebooted my whole system after but unfortunately it didn't fix the problem

        Can you please uninstall TWS 950.2 and install TWS 944.3. Subsequently check if you can connect in NinjaTrader 7 using this workaround. You can install TWS 944.3 from the IB connection guide at the link below for NinjaTrader 7.

          Yes, now I'm connected! so the latest version of TWS causes problems.
