Merged/unmerged instrument

I wanted to have both a merged and non-merged contract. The only way I see I can accomplish this is create a second instrument based on the first that is not merged.

Is there a better or easier way?

Thank you for contacting us.

This would require that the merge policy itself be changed or that NinjaTrader is used on two separate PC's. It is not recommended that you create duplicate instruments as this will result in various issues in data loading and order processing.

Thanks for the reply. I understand the default merge policy would need to be changed. I didn't know about the order processing issues though. Any way I can squeeze out what was merged in, other than 2 pc's?
