I cannot find a free forex data provider. Are there any out there? I have demo accounts with some brokerages, but compatible data providers for NT such as Tradestation require large deposits for access to the data. Any ideas?

You can connect to Gain Capital for free Forex data.
To Connect:
- Start NinjaTrader
- From within the Control Center window, select “Tools > Account Connections...”
- In the Account Connection Set Up window, press Add...
- Follow the instructions provided in the Connection Wizard
- Select "Use NinjaTrader servers" for Historical Data
- Select “Demo” under the Mode option list
- Complete the wizard
- You will now be able to connect to a free real-time rate simulation account
via the Control Center window “File > Connect” menu
