text editor in chart has black background

I'm unable to view any text that I am typing when using the text tool in the charts.
The background of the text tool input form is black and is expecting white text to be able to stand out against it. However, I'm using black text with white background. Is there a way to change the text tool window gui background to something other than black?

The background color of the Text window is the background color of the chart

You will either need to change the chart's background color or the color of the text

To change the background color of the chart you will need to right click on the chart and select Properties, then in the Chart Properties window select 'Color for background', select a new color and press OK

To change the color of the Text you will need to click the Font button in the Text properties window.

Then in the Font window select a new color from the Color drop down menu and press OK
