Long time to connect to FXCM

Guys,

On average it seems to take around 2 or 3 minutes to connect to my FXCM account with Ninjatrader... is this normal? I can't imagine that this is in any way normal or expected behavior. If I launch a simple web session connect to my FXCM account that way (it uses Flash), the login takes no more than 5 seconds or so. That tells the that it must be possible to connect to their servers and start getting data within a few seconds, so the problem can't be on their end. Is anyone else experiencing this long of a connection time? If so, please look into fixing this, at least for NinjaTrader 8 if nothing else.

Thanks for writing in.

I can quickly connect to FXCM on my end.
The web session you are using probably uses different servers than what NinjaTrader uses to connect.
So we can look further into your connection to the servers please write into platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com requesting to schedule a remote call.
