NinjaTrader.Vendor.dll could not be found CS0006

    NinjaTrader.Vendor.dll could not be found CS0006

    This might be related to moving my documents folder to a RAID0 drive.

    When I edit and compile and indicator I get the problem.

    "Metadata file 'c:\Users\someuser\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\NinjaTrader.Vendor.dll" could not be found.

    It does exist and so does NinjaTrader.Custom.dll.

    I moved via windows explorer the documents folder to this other drive (mostly for NT8 testing in trying to get faster replay speed via disk access).

    Note NT8B3 does not have this issue when compiling an indicator.

    Is this known issue of moving the documents folder? (Searching on ninjatrader.vendor.dll is not allowed in the search).

    Thanks for your reply.

    Your references no longer have the correct directory.
    You will need to go to Tools> Edit NinjaScript> Indicator
    Select ANY indicator and press OK
    Right click and select References
    Remove references for anything that is in the incorrect directory (note what you remove)
    Add back the reference(s) from the correct directory

        DId you simply move it, or did you relocate it using the object's properties?

          I did this:

          c:\users\someuser\documents\ is totally empty (which is where NT was looking for the vendor.dll )...
