Hello,
I want to use ninja trader to observe one or two instruments while I find my feet with trading and develop my trading plan. I do not want to place trades at this time as I do not have a plan in place. I am looking for a free data feed for stocks and indices. I need minute/tick data so Kinetick won't do as they only provide EOD. It doesn't really matter if there is a slight delay to the quote. I'm looking for a free feed as I don't anticipate trading live for quite a while so don't really want to pay for something at the moment. Please advise if I am wasting my time by looking for this.

Thank you for your post. We are not aware of a free data feed that supplies real-time, or delayed intraday stock data.

Thanks for your reply. Am I right to think that as the Google and yahoo quotes are simulated they do not reflect the actual market environment?

The data supplied by Yahoo and Google is actual market data, however it is only end-of-day data and not real-time. So you won't be able to view intraday charts, just Daily or greater when connected to each.
