Pending Orders

Hello,

Under the tab "Orders" I got 6 PENDING orders, I am trying to delete them clicking on Cancel button to no avail, they don't want to disappear. How can I erase those stubborn pending orders?

Hello Al,

Thank you for your post.

First, if this is a live trade please contact your broker's trade desk to manage your positions/orders.

Once you have closed the positions/orders with your broker please repair your database to remove the order from NinjaTrader.

To repair your database please go to Tools> Options> Data> and click 'Repair DB'.
If this does not remove the order then the order will be removed when your broker resets their servers.

If the order was submitted to the sim101 account please reset the sim101 account.

To reset the sim101 account please go to Tools> Options> Simulator> and click 'Reset'.

Hi Kyle, I already fixed my pending orders, thanks!

Another question:
You should review your workspace and where possible:
Reduce the number of days to load,
Remove redundant charts and indicators,
Set some chart indicators to calculate to CalculateOnBarClose = true,
Or even set the "Display update interval" to a higher value on your chart

Where do I find that "Display update interval"? I was looking under "Data Series" but could not find it.

This property is found in the Properties menu. To access this menu in your chart please right click and select Properties.
