Ninja trader application not closing or exiting just freezes.

Every time I try to close ninja trader it freezes. It does not shut down. Its very frustrating having to use the task manager every time. I am also worried not shutting down correctly will corrupt my work spaces.

Any idea why this is happening?

And when is ninja trader 8 coming out! Wouldn't be having these problems if we had the updated code (hopefully)!

      Hello knowlestrader,

Can you please send me your log and trace files so I can investigate. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Jason, Ninja trader application not closing or exiting just freezes' in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.

Unfortunately we do not have a release date for NinjaTrader 8 at this time. It is currently in beta phase. If you like to be part of a next beta group, please let me know and I will add you to the list.

            Hello SniperMiko,

            Thank you for your post.

Please follow the steps below to manually send your log and trace files so I may investigate this matter further.
            • Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
            • Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
            • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to an email to support [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com
              • Please include 'ATTN Spencer' in the Subject line and a link to this forum post in the body of the email
            • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
Thanks in advance; I look forward to resolving this item.
