Change place of some NT folders (workspaces, strategies...)

Hello. How to change place of some NT folders (workspaces, strategies...)? I didn't find such option. I need to store folder with my data ("NinjaTrader 7" with workplaces, strategies...) in other place.

Hello alexstox,

Unfortunately this is not supported. These folders need to reside under Documents-->NinjaTrader 7. You would need to move the entire Documents folder.

1. Open the User Profile folder- C:\Users\**your user account name**
2. Right click on the Documents folder and select properties
3. Select the Location tab
4. Press Move and select the location you would like the folder relocated to
5. Select Yes to move all the files to the new location.

Hello. I tried to update to 30th last version. But after window with platform downloading it just disappeared and than nothing. Where to look for set up file to run it manually?

Hello,

By default this file would download to your Downloads folder. Clicking CTRL + J to open the downloads window in your browser would be another way to find the file.

No. Browser downloads only Setup.exe. Than after running Setup.exe small window appears with downloading 60Mb installer. But nothing happen after installer's downloading finished. Where to find this installer to run it manually.

Can you please use the search function in the Windows start menu to look for "NinjaTrader.Install.msi". If you cannot find it, please send me an email at platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Put 'Att Jason, Change place of some NT folders (workspaces, strategies...)' in the subject header.

My Vista hide this file far away from me, using IE folders. It was hard to find the file even for Vista :-) It took a lot of time
