Basic DOM Questions

Hello,

Ive been trading with NT for several months now using a third party (Jigsaw Tools) DOM.
I have no complaints with it but at $50 a month I would like to consider my options. I am a NT brokerage client.

1) I under stand that NT offers two? different types of DOM's. What is the difference between the two and what are the costs associated with either.

2) Does my license key need to be changed to use either of them?

Thank you for your post,

The differences between the Static and Dynamic SuperDOMs is regarding the Price Ladder Display. The Static SuperDOM's prices move on the ladder itself and the ladder does not move; the Dynamic SuperDOM's prices are tied to the ladder itself and will move in and out of view as the market price moves.

The Static SuperDOM requires TT credits to execute trades, this is because Trading Technologies has a patent on the Static price ladder used in the NinjaTrader Static SuperDOM (usually .10 a trade).

Because of this, the lifetime license of NinjaTrader comes with only the Dynamic SuperDOM; to enable the Static SuperDOM, you will need to write in to PlatformSales [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] Com with your license key.

Ok, So i have a lease License for Ninja Trader instead of the Lifetime as you mentioned in your post. Does this make a difference for use of the dynamic super DOM as far as cost?

Sorry for the oversight, no there is no difference, the Static SuperDOM can be added to a leased license as well as.
