Stochastic Overlaying the Price Pane (how to)

I am trying to get a stochastic indicator that overlays the price pane. I would like it to be a single line with a setting of 5-5-2 (I want to hide the %D if its possible). I thought this would be pretty simple, but when I put the stochastic indicator in pane one my price pane went crazy and I still don't know how to hide %d. Is this possible to do? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Overlaying indicators with different y-axis over the price is currently not supported. It is on the list for NT7 though.

In the meantime please search the File Sharing section for an indicator called "Stochastics Overlay".

Is there anyway to 'rig' the autoscale to make this work in the meantime?

If the close was divided by the indicator value to find the ratio, and then the indicator value was then multiplied by the ratio, might that work to an extent?

The meantime solution is the method used in the indicator I mentioned earlier. There is a generic version floating around somewhere also, but we are unable to provide support on these so you will just have to play with them.

Good to know. I was just browsing the shared indicators and noticed a few overlayed ones, so as you said, probably easiest just to use them as reference.
