    SLM orders

Have experienced slippage using stop orders to enter - want to try SLM's, but can't find instructions how to enter these in Super DOM...how's it done?

    Hello,

You can place a stop limit order via the SuperDOM using the middle mouse button (wheel)

      hmmmmm

I see; unlike stop or lmt orders, however, "x", "checkmark" & "number of contracts" displays, rather than just the confirmation -- have to click the checkmark to get the confirmation to enter the order.....

You can get rid of the confirmation by going to Tools--> Options--> General tab-> uncheck 'Confirm order placement' and click OK.

          I don't mind the confirmation...

...but that sequence/step prior to confirmation, apparently unique to SLM, seems unnecessary. Any way to deactivate that?

You can't disable this. What I suggest is to submit a Stop Market order. You can do this by Middle click your mouse (scroll wheel) and holding down your CTRL-key

... & have been getting slippage; thought I would see how the SLM orders fared.....

If I understand this thread correctly, the step you want to eliminate is the one where you specify the offset for the limit part of the order. This can be set to a permanent value in "Properties" > "Stop limit offset" ~ when set at "Off" you will be prompted to input the offset, but if set to a number it will use that value and you won't get the extra step when placing the order.

                  Stop order

Hi. I have one question - I cannot to place Stop order by Super Dom. I use CTRL + mouse wheel. In properties I set Middle mouse button.... to true, but it doesnt work. I have 6.5 version.
                  How to do it?
                  Thank you

Thank you for your post Maitreja.

By default the stop market order should be Ctrl + Middle Mouse Click and the stop limit should be Middle Mouse click.

With the property you mentioned set to true this would be reversed, but if you Middle mouse click above the current trading price in the BUY column and no order is entered then it likely means that your mouse is not compatable.

Please try going to Start--> Control Panel--> Mouse Properties--> click on the buttons tab--> select scroll wheel--> click on modify--> set to middle button and click apply.
